Overview
Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) travel assignment in Springfield, MA. Start 09/07/2026 for 13 weeks. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Weekly pay: $2,366–$2,445. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Setting: hospital travel assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care to adults on medical-tele and intermediate care units, including patients on trachs, vents, and noninvasive respiratory support.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, manage IV lines and devices, and respond to emergencies with rapid assessment and escalation as needed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, document in the medical record, and participate in care planning and rounding.
- Perform routine assessments, monitor telemetry, and assist with complex care needs such as cardiac drips and BiPAP, while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and adherence to infection control and clinical protocols.

Requirements
- Massachusetts Placement Agency License and Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- 1–2 years of ICU/med-tele/IMC experience preferred
- Must have experience with trachs, vents, high-flow nasal cannula, cardiac drips, BiPAP, and telemetry
- Must be located outside a 90-mile radius from the facility
- Ability to float to other units (med-tele and IMC) as needed
