Manufacturing Cost Engineer

Job Description
- Develop should-cost models and cost targets for mechanical and electrical components.
- Apply DFM/DFA and Design-to-Target methodologies.
- Perform VA/VE, benchmarking, and teardown analysis .
- Support supplier negotiations with should-cost analysis.
- Analyze BOMs, CAD models, engineering/manufacturing drawings, and schematics .
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities and track product costs.
- Present cost updates, risks, and opportunities to management. Required Skills
- Bachelor's in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
- 7 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- BDI, A-priori, or related costing software .
- Strong DFM/DFA and VA/VE knowledge.
- BOM and manufacturing drawing experience.
- 3D CAD knowledge; Creo preferred .
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Up to 10% travel .
