We’re Ouma Bakery! We’re nestled in the heart of Brooklyn, in Prospect Lefferts Gardens. 

Our team is growing and we're looking for a HEAD BAKER to work alongside our head of pastry. We are currently

This position will be responsible for prep, production, bakes and bakery operations. Knowledge of enriched dough production, quick breads, scones/biscuits, and cakes/cookies is essential. This position requires a good amount of self-guidance (as we are a small team), so a strong understanding of general pastry kitchen knowledge and food safety guidelines is mandatory. You’d work alongside our head of pastry who is a classically trained professional with diverse experience, so an incredible opportunity to learn a ton.

The schedule for this position can be quite flexible as we're still a mall enough team, but Sunday and Monday shifts are mandatory.

Requirements:

5 days a week commitment 

Flexible schedule, but must include Sundays and Mondays

Must have a valid food handlers certificate

Communication and organizational skills are mandatory
