Patient Transporter - Skilled Nursing

Full Patient Transporter Job Description Assistunit staff with transfer of residents/patients as necessary. Transportsresidents and patients to/from therapy treatment areas. Monitorsresidents and patients during exercise routines. Assistswith set-up/clean-up of treatment areas. Assistswith the cleaning and distribution of wheelchairs. Maintainequipment and make minor repairs. Assistswith clerical duties (i.e., copying, faxing, filing, answering phones,etc.). Keepswork area neat and orderly. Maintainsresidents' and patients' safety during transport and while assisting intreatment area. Respondswell to instructions and guidance, finds solutions to work relatedproblems, and completes assignments independently, not requiring constantsupervision. Attendsand participates in required and MANDATORY in-service educationalprograms, on the job training programs, etc. as directed and/or scheduled.
