Prep Cook Position at Levy Restaurants

Join Levy Restaurants at the University of St. Thomas as a Prep Cook, where you'll be an integral part of the culinary team, supporting the preparation of high-quality food for the University of St. Thomas sporting events based out of the new Lee & Penny Anderson Arena.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and portion ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring seasonings, to support kitchen operations.
• Assist with the preparation of menu items, such as sauces, sides, and entrees, according to chef instructions and established recipes.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production.
• Monitor inventory levels of prepared items and communicate replenishment needs to supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen or food preparation role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
