Maxway is looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our accounting team.

This is a full-time, in-office position.

Pay: $20.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience

This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working

with numbers and computers. Previous accounting experience is helpful, but not required. We are

willing to train someone who is ready to learn and grow with the company.

What you will do:

 Enter invoices and other information into our accounting system

 Help process accounts payable and vendor payments

 Review invoices for accuracy and proper approval

 Match invoices with receipts and other records

 Review vendor statements and help research missing or incorrect items

 Keep vendor and accounting records up to date

 Help track company credit card receipts and transactions

 Communicate with vendors and employees when information is missing

 Assist with other accounting projects as you learn our processes

What We are Looking For:

 Strong attention to detail and accuracy

 Dependable and organized

 Comfortable using computers and learning new software

 Basic Microsoft Excel skills

 Able to follow instructions and established processes

 Comfortable with repetitive tasks and data entry

 Willing to ask questions and learn

 Able to manage several tasks and meet deadlines

Experience

Previous office, data entry, accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience is a plus,

but not required.

A college degree is not required.

Schedule and Location:

This is a full-time, in-office position.
Remote work is not available at this time.
