Welder - Direct Employment - 1st and 2nd shift

Location: South/West Metro

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift time - 5:30am - 3pm or 3pm - 1am (Mon- Thursday)

We are looking for a Welder to join a fabrication team building custom equipment for the fertilizer industry. This is not a production role —you will work on custom projects using stainless steel MIG welding.

• Perform MIG welding on stainless and mild steel
• Weld parts such as bins, pipes, sheet metal, and structural components
• Read and follow blueprints and welding drawings
• Weld in different positions (flat, vertical, overhead)
• Work in and around large tanks and confined areas
• Inspect your work to ensure quality and accuracy
• Lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs)
• Keep your work area clean and safe

• MIG welding experience or welding school training
• Ability to weld stainless and mild steel
• Basic blueprint reading skills
• Comfortable working in confined spaces
• Ability to work in a fabrication shop environment

• Work on custom, one-of-a-kind projects
• No repetitive production welding
• Laid-back shop environment

• Work around large equipment and tanks
• Physical role with regular lifting and movement
• Standard welding PPE and safety practices required

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, MN.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
