Senior Director VET Quality (Orthopaedics)

Senior Director of Quality leading the VET Platform quality organization for DePuy Synthes Orthopaedics. Manages end-to-end quality accountability for new product development and supply chain operations, with direct oversight of multiple professional teams across global, cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality organization with full end-to-end accountability for new products and processes from R&D through supply chain transfer and activities
• Direct global, cross-functional project teams defining new product and production improvement strategies in coordination with R&D and commercial groups
• Serve as senior quality representative to platform leadership and make complex strategic decisions with cross-functional stakeholder alignment
• Resolve cross-functional issues, lead escalations as required, and communicate business and compliance matters to executive management
• Ensure organizational compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements across all operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
• 12+ years medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
• 5+ years quality engineering in new product development or supply chain
• Significant experience enabling technology integration across multiple platforms
• Proven track record of complex decision-making and market-compliant product launches
• Strong written and oral communication with excellent interpersonal skills
• Analytical and critical thinking capabilities essential
