Maintenance MechanicSeneca Foods in Cumberland, WI is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. Assigned mechanical job duties to maintain and repair food processing equipment. Completes repairs during the processing season to meet production goals. Overhaul and install plant equipment during non-production periods to be ready for the next scheduled production run.Responsibilities:Inspect, repair and maintain machinery, and equipment throughout the facilityTrouble shoot, repair, and replace machinery as requiredRead sketches and blueprints to determine layout of assigned workDesign, fabricate, weld, and install equipment as requiredMaintain accurate records of work performed and PM completedMonitor equipment operation making any necessary adjustmentsEnsure that GMP's (General manufacturing Practices), safety rules and regulations are being followed and enforcedOther duties as assignedQualifications:Must have good attention to detail and accuracyStrong maintenance skillsWillingness and ability to work and function in a team environmentAbility to effectively communicate both written and verballyAbility to work with all levels of the organizationSeneca Foods Corporation is committed to providing equal opportunity for all, through a positive and continuing affirmative action program.
