Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Step Down / Telemetry (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Step Down / Intermediate Care (IMC/PCU) setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry and progressive care interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care as appropriate
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the facility EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Mississippi or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of Step Down, IMC, PCU, or Telemetry nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Permanent residence located 50+ miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Seclusion and Management of Aggression (SAMA) certification
