Spanish Fort / Daphne, Alabama

Pay: $23.00–$25.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

HireRise Partners is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a highly respected attorney with an active civil litigation practice serving clients throughout Alabama and Florida.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned legal professional who enjoys working closely with an attorney while managing a diverse caseload involving complex litigation matters. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.

The attorney's practice focuses on protecting individuals, businesses, property owners, condominium associations, and commercial clients in a variety of civil litigation matters across the Gulf Coast. The firm has built a long-standing reputation for handling complex litigation and trial work throughout the Southeast and has decades of courtroom experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated legal support to one attorney licensed in both Alabama and Florida
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, subpoenas, and other legal documents
• Maintain litigation calendars and monitor court deadlines
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation
• Prepare exhibits, trial notebooks, witness files, and case summaries
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files
• File documents electronically with Alabama and Florida courts
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts, insurance representatives, and court personnel
• Review, organize, and summarize case documents and discovery
• Assist with legal research and document management
• Support all phases of litigation from case inception through trial

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures
• Experience drafting pleadings and managing litigation files
• Ability to manage multiple active matters simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• High attention to detail and professionalism
• Ability to work independently while supporting a busy litigation practice
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and legal case management software

Preferred

• Experience with Alabama and/or Florida court procedures
• Experience with electronic filing systems
• Background in insurance defense, construction litigation, condominium/HOA law, or personal injury litigation
• Trial preparation experience
