Role summary: The Technician, Facility Services, Power Washing, is responsible for operating and maintaining pressure washing equipment to clean various facility surfaces, ensuring they meet established standards. What you'll do: Operate and maintain pressure washing equipment to clean various facility surfaces, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks on power washing machinery and corporate vehicles. Evaluate cleaning areas to determine appropriate pressure, temperature, and methods for effective results. Respond to work orders, document tasks, and communicate updates with facility users and management. Manage equipment inventory, install wear parts, and ensure proper storage of tools and vehicles. Support seasonal exterior maintenance, including snow and ice management, to maintain safe conditions. Identify and report safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, and maintenance needs promptly. What you’ll bring: Proven experience operating and maintaining pressure washing equipment and related machinery safely and effectively. Ability to evaluate surfaces and determine appropriate pressure, temperature, and operational methods to meet facility standards. Skilled in performing preventative maintenance and safety checks on power washing and heavy equipment. Strong knowledge of safety procedures and compliance with company policies to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment. Competence in operating corporate vehicles, including conducting inspections and maintaining vehicle condition. Effective communication skills to coordinate with facility users, managers, and team members. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support facility maintenance needs with attention to quality and safety. The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification during pre-hire contingency and maintain a minimum of a 90-day Medical Examiner's Certification (MEC) card.
