About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership and oversee all financial and accounting aspects. The CFO will be a key partner to the executive team, driving financial performance, supporting investment and growth decisions, and ensuring the organization's long-term success. Key responsibilities for the CFO include leading the company's financial functions, developing and maintaining budgets and forecasts, monitoring portfolio performance, and partnering on various strategic initiatives. The role also involves evaluating investment opportunities, overseeing financial reporting, and managing relationships with external partners. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for advanced designations such as CPA or MBA. A minimum of 10 years' progressive finance and accounting leadership experience is required, with a strong preference for those with a background in commercial real estate. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of real estate financial concepts, experience in financial modeling for real estate transactions, and a proven track record in managing banking and lender relationships. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills are essential, as is a strategic and business-minded approach to financial management. The CFO will also be responsible for mentoring the finance and accounting team and driving continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
