We’re seeking a Director of Finance to own day to day accounting operations, drive financial strategy, and partner closely with executive and operations leadership across a multi unit retail environmen t.You will lead financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, payroll oversight, and cash management while championing process improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and profitabilit y.Lead all finance and accounting activities: reporting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll oversight, and core operational accountin g.Provide direction and coaching to the Controller and accounting leadership team to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial result s.Partner with senior leaders to improve margins, reduce operating costs, and optimize labor spend across the busines s.Maintain and strengthen internal controls and standardized financial processes for all location s.Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, and liquidity to support ongoing operations and growth initiative s.Support FP&A, including long range planning, financial models, scenario analysis, and KPI development and monitorin g.Contribute to contract review, vendor negotiations, and other key commercial decisions with clear financial insigh t.Create and present concise, executive level financial reports and recommendations to guide strategic decision s.Lead continuous improvement efforts within finance and accounting, leveraging technology and better processe s.Stay deeply involved in core accounting areas: general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, inventory, fixed assets, reconciliations, and financial reportin g.Step into operational accounting functions when needed during transitions, peak periods, system changes, or rapid growt h.Coordinate audit activities, support tax planning, and manage relationships with external CPA firm s.Provide financial support for acquisitions, capital projects, and long term expansion plan s.Ensure adherence to company policies, financial controls, and all relevant regulation s.Participate in leadership development initiatives with a path toward future senior level financial role s. Director of Finance Background Profi le:Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field requir ed.MBA or CPA strongly preferred (or equivalent advanced credential s).5–10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experien ce.Background in retail, distribution, or other multi unit operations is highly preferr ed.Deep knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal control framewor ks.Proven track record leading and developing high performing finance and accounting tea ms.Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with a data driven approach to decision maki ng.Excellent communication, organization, and project management abiliti es.High proficiency with modern financial systems and technology too ls.Strategic finance leader who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves in the detai ls.Trusted business partner who enjoys collaborating with operations and executive tea ms.Detail oriented professional who cares about accuracy, compliance, and continuous improveme nt.High energy contributor motivated by making a real impact on performance and grow #J-18808-Ljbffr
