Base pay range $170,000.00/yr - $195,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Direct message the job poster from JMI Recruiting Services, LLC President at JMI Recruiting Services, LLC We are currently supporting our client, a private equity‑owned distribution and manufacturing company with revenue of around $600 million, based in the Midwest, in their search for a Corporate Controller. ***This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside in either Michigan, Ohio, or Pennsylvania to be considered.*** Responsibilities Collaborate with the CFO and executive team to enhance financial strategies, focusing on efficiency, transparency, and accountability. Lead the creation of financial dashboards and KPIs, driving continuous improvement in processes and providing actionable insights for growth and scalability. Establish and enforce accounting principles and procedures to ensure compliance with US GAAP and regulatory requirements, while overseeing financial statement preparation, management reports, and audits. Co‑lead the annual budget and forecasting process, providing financial modeling and analysis to support strategic decisions, optimize costs, and align financial processes during M&A activities. Build and lead a high‑performing accounting and finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration while driving process excellence in Accounts Payable and Receivable and promoting transparency and continuous improvement across national operations. Requirements Experience as a Senior Controller or Corporate Controller, preferably within a distribution, wholesale, or manufacturing setting Experience with ERP Systems Bachelor's degree from an accredited university Demonstrated success in building efficient, scalable financial processes.
