The unit offers three levels of care: Floor, Telemetry, and Intermediate Medical Care (IMC). Services provided include IMC patient arrythmia management, BiPAP/CPAP, bedside bronchoscopy, Thoracic surgery (lung resections, pneumonectomy, esophagectomy), Trauma, Urology (RRP, TURP), and a variety of other general surgery patients. The Registered Nurse Lead (RN) will help lead different initiatives and support the Nurse Manager in the day-to-day operations of the unit, provide resources to staff and help provide patient care. This role is vital in ensuring the unit runs smoothly.Qualifications:Bachelor degree in Nursing requiredActive Maryland or Compact RN license is requiredBLS CPR certification requiredRN work experience required; 2 years of PCU or higher acuity experience preferredThe ability to provide guidance and direction to staff and acts in the absence of the Assistant Nurse Manager/Nurse Manager to oversee a clinical team during care delivery and unit operations.We're proud to offer a robust benefits package that supports your health, growth, and well-being. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
