Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support invoice processing, vendor management, and payment workflows within a fast-paced construction accounting environment. This role will be responsible for processing vendor and subcontractor invoices, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. Key Responsibilities Process vendor and subcontractor invoices, including coding and data entry Review invoices for accuracy and supporting documentation Maintain vendor records, including W‑9s, insurance certificates, and compliance documents Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies Manage AP inboxes and invoice approval workflows Support weekly payment processing, including checks, ACH, and wires Assist with lien release documentation and vendor compliance requirements Maintain accurate AP records for reporting and audit purposes Support month‑end close activities as needed Required Qualifications 2–5 years of Accounts Payable or accounting experience Experience processing invoices, coding expenses, and managing vendor accounts Experience using ERP/accounting systems (Sage, TimberScan, or similar preferred) Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a high-volume environment Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications Construction or project-based accounting experience Experience with subcontractor invoices, lien releases, or vendor compliance Experience supporting month‑end close activities Experience working in ERP-based accounting environments #J-18808-Ljbffr
