Account Manager Intern - Hybrid (Ft. Myers, FL)

Job Overview: This paid internship offers hands‑on experience across multiple departments at one of the nation's fastest growing strategic advisory firms. The program aims to prepare interns for a full‑time position after graduation. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the internal service team, benefits consultants, account managers, and client executives to ensure service deliverables meet and exceed client expectations. Shadow team members within Retention and Client Services and provide support using Microsoft Office products while learning the basics of the benefits business. Assist with preparation for client renewal meetings and client documentation. Use project management and communication skills to identify client requirements and support resources. Perform additional duties within the Client Resource Management system (D365) as assigned by management. Take on other assignments identified by department managers or directors. Qualifications & Skills Fort Myers, Florida location. Bilingual candidate preferred. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while meeting or exceeding deadlines. Effective written and oral communication skills across a variety of audiences. Self‑motivated and disciplined with a strong research mindset. Positive, upbeat attitude. Education & Experience A rising junior or senior with an expected graduation date of 2026 or 2027, pursuing a bachelor’s degree. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook) and comfortable working with others in diverse environments. Compensation & Benefits Base pay depends on skills, education, qualifications, experience, and location. Some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on performance.
