IT Business Analyst - Credit & Secured Financial

Job Title:- IT Business Analyst Credit & Secured Financing
Location:- New York, New York (Hybrid)
Term: 1 year (possibility of extension)
Experience: 5-7 Years
W2 Only
Summary:
Serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and recommending solutions to support strategic objectives and operational improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and analysis.
- Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement or automation.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for development teams. Support testing, training, and deployment of new systems or enhancements.
- Facilitate communication between business users and IT teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and documentation to support decision-making.
Skills:
- Experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, and process mapping. Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Visio, JIRA, Tableau, Rovo and Copilot.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Business Analyst certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or SAFE certification is a plus.
- Prior experiance supporting Credit products and Secured Financing(Repo and Sec Lend/Borrow) trading desks prefered.
