We believe power is a promise - a shared commitment to be there for others when it matters most.For more than 65 years, we've turned big ideas into solutions that help protect homes, strengthen businesses and build a more resilient, efficient, sustainable energy future.Ready to Power a Smarter World with us?The Director of Contract Management will oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts with large retailers, ensuring alignment with Generac’s operating needs and strategic goals. This role will be client-facing and will collaborate closely with Sales leadership, legal, operations teams, and executive stakeholders to establish ideal operating terms and then negotiate directly with our customer partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in contract administration, operational excellence, and leadership within a complex, multi-channel sales environment. Responsibilities:Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with large customer organizations across Generac Home business units Ensure proper contract fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements and customer specifications by collaborating cross-functionally across the organization Establish operational processes and departmental RACI between Contracts team, Compliance team and Sales team Act as a liaison between sales and our customers to negotiate contractual terms and conditions Operationalize a continuous process to check in with operational teams to ensure contracts remain up to date with internal needs Advocate on behalf of Generac needs and standards of operations Identify profitability enhancement opportunities within contractual agreements and contribute to cost savings initiatives Partner with compliance teams regularly to understand compliance concerns and how contract adjustments can ensure less compliance violations and fines Lead contract management improvements and initiatives including investigating and implementing automated solutions, such as CLM Compare contractual obligations across the organization to identify common areas while driving operational improvements in collaboration with sales channel VPs and other senior leaders ​Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.At least 8 years of experience in contract administration, sales operations, or a similar role within a large, complex organization.Preferred Requirements:Experience using Salesforce CRMExperience implementing and leveraging a CLM software“We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.”SummaryLocation: Pewaukee, WI - USA; Waukesha, WI - USA; Sussex, WI - USA; North Billerica, MA - USA; South Portland, ME - USA; Reno, NV - USA; Trenton, SC - USAType: Full time
