As an Area Manager, you can proudly tell your family and friends that you help nurture hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho’s youth by being part of the leadership of an organization that maintains a network of over 20 thrift stores, eCommerce, and various specialty shops within our thrift stores; the profits of which go to fund our Programs and Services and make them accessible to all youth who need those services in Idaho.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in and IYR thrift store or similar industry
• Interest in and knowledge of the retail environment, including general knowledge of popular brands, product pricing and antiques

Our Area Manager:

• Serves as a positive leader and representative of the Idaho Youth Ranch to both staff and members of the community.
• Maintains a “team” dynamic amongst Managers and staff in assigned area, creating an extensive support system.
• Ensures the assigned stores are fully staffed, stocked, merchandised to agency standards and are consistently executing agency programs and initiatives.

As a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, the Idaho Youth Ranch is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program. The PLSF offers student loan forgiveness on qualifying loans under specific conditions. Speak with your loan provider for more information.

This position is located in Idaho and candidate must be within a reasonable distance to our location
