There is an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support learners in the Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge areas of Prince William County. This contract position follows the school year, beginning August 17, 2026, and concluding on June 12, 2027, with a consistent 35-hour workweek (seven hours per day).

What we’re looking for:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Virginia SLP license (required prior to start)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) status
• Recent experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
• Passion for helping students thrive academically and socially

Primary responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group speech and language therapy services for students
• Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district and state policies
• Offer recommendations, strategies, and support within the classroom setting
• Adapt therapy plans and materials to meet diverse student needs
• Commit to onsite presence in assigned schools throughout the school year
