Make an impact in the Washington DC area by providing essential speech-language pathology services to students across varying age groups. This contract opportunity begins August 3, 2026, and runs through May 27, 2027, offering the chance to work a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week) in a supportive school setting just 45 minutes south of the city. Assignments are available at all school levels—including elementary, middle, and high schools—so you can find a fit that matches your strengths and interests.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure
• Demonstrated experience or knowledge of working in a school-based setting
• Willingness to work on-site (remote and hybrid options are not available)
• Ability to support diverse student populations across various age groups
• Readiness to begin Virginia Department of Social Services background check immediately
• Completion of a TB test, as required by state guidelines
• Passion for fostering communication skills and student success

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students per IEPs and district guidelines
• Conduct assessments, document progress, and collaborate with educational staff
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs
• Engage with families and teachers to support student development and goal attainment
• Maintain accurate records and stay current with required documentation
• Flexibly manage a caseload spanning multiple schools, as assigned
