Two contract opportunities are open for passionate SLP professionals eager to work with K–12 students. These roles are ideal for those comfortable with diverse caseloads and committed to fostering student growth in communication skills.

The first position is a maternity leave coverage, with a high chance of extension—potentially through January 2027—depending on the current SLP’s career plans. The second position is a contract available through May 2027, unless the district hires directly. Both roles require a full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week, and you will support approximately 60+ students per position.

Desired experience and qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP licensure, ASHA CCCs strongly preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
• Experience with pediatric and school-based populations
• Skilled in teletherapy as well as in-person therapy preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to manage a full caseload and provide evidence-based therapy
• Commitment to documentation and progress monitoring

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to K–12 students across varying needs
• Conduct ongoing assessments and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain timely and accurate records of student progress
• Utilize technology and teletherapy platforms as appropriate
• Provide support and resources to families and staff
