Nidhi Gupta DDS is looking for a passionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental practice in Hayward, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a patient-centered environment where your expertise and care make a real difference in people's lives every day. Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures for patients
- Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments and document findings in patient charts
- Take and review dental X-rays (radiographs) in accordance with office protocols
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, home care, and preventive strategies
- Screen patients for oral health conditions including gum disease, cavities, and oral cancer
- Collaborate with the dentist to develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental practice management software
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of California
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with dental X-rays and proficiency in digital radiography
- Knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive dental care best practices
- Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented dental office environment
