Dishwasher PositionThe Dishwasher washes and cleans tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. This role maintains a clean and organized work area. Must be available to work weekends, nights and holidays.Essential/Primary Duties:Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using a dishwasher or by handKeeps dishwasher clean and immediately reports any functional or mechanical problems to a ManagerMonitors dishwasher water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycleMaintains kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly conditionPlaces clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areasMaintains adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning suppliesSorts and removes trash, placing it in designated pickup areasSweeps or scrubs floorsStocks supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.Cleans food preparation and production areasReceives and stores suppliesProperly rotate product as instructed to ensure food safety and freshness.Cleans garbage cansTransfers supplies or equipment between storage and work areasHandles tableware carefully to prevent breakage and lossCoordinates with and assists fellow employees to meet guests' needs and support the operation of the restaurantFills in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operationsSecondary Duties:Prepares and packages individual place settingsLoads or unloads trucks that deliver or pick up food or suppliesSets up banquet tablesAssists with kitchen prep workEducation and/or Experience:High School Diploma with 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experienceCompetency/Skill Requirements:Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety procedures and requirementsFluent in the English language both verbally and non-verbally.Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneAbout UsFounded in 1915, Midmark Corporation is the only company transforming healthcare experiences through innovative design within the medical, dental and animal health environments.
