This position is located in Livermore, CA

Days: Mon-Fri 6:00am to 2:30pm; Swing: Mon-Fri 2:00pm to 10:30pm

Summary of position:

Responsible for performing precision mechanical inspection of machined parts and incoming materials to verify compliance to specification.

• Basic blueprint reading & shop math (trigonometry)
• Inspect first off parts from manufacturing work centers
• Collect measurement data for use in first article inspection (FAI) reports
• Collect and provide data required for critical part final inspection reports (FIRs)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience performing in-process and final inspection preferably in a machining, automotive or aerospace business
• Thorough knowledge of GD&T
• CMM operation required
• Ability to correctly use and interpret basic measuring tools including weight gauge, micrometer, caliper scale (linear), gauge blocks, thread gauges, and comparative standards
