Business Analyst / QA Analyst

Salary: $123,000 - 163,000 per year Requirements:

• We need strong experience with JIRA, including user story management, backlog upkeep, and defect tracking.
• We need experience with QTest and writing test cases.
• We need experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• We need strong documentation abilities and analytical problem-solving skills.
• We need excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when working directly with business users.
• We need strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
• We need basic SQL skills, including the ability to write simple queries and select statements.
• Preferred: experience with an automated testing tool such as Playwright or a similar solution.
• Preferred: prior QA/testing experience, particularly in a role involving requirements, test case development, and defect management.
• Preferred: business-facing Business Analyst experience.
• Preferred: experience validating data between frontend and backend systems.

• We work directly with business users to gather, clarify, and document requirements.
• We create and maintain user stories and manage the product backlog in JIRA.
• We document test cases and testing requirements in QTest.
• We track, document, and coordinate defect resolution.
• We help validate frontend and backend data and identify discrepancies.
• We collaborate with development, QA, business, and other technical teams.
• We participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and two-week sprints.
• We communicate requirements, testing outcomes, issues, and status clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
• We stay organized while managing multiple projects, teams, and priorities.
