About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required, with preference for 3 years, particularly with Level I trauma center experience or travel assignment experience. License: Current nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS required. Must-Have: - Experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. - Proficient in using electronic health record systems. - Experience in a Level I Trauma Center preferred. Description: We are seeking a dedicated registered nurse to join our emergency room team. This role requires dynamic individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Nurses will manage a patient ratio of 4:1, with occasional flexibility to 5:1. Every other weekend shift is required. Candidates should possess skills in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and EKG proficiency. Nurses will be responsible for a diverse range of patient cases, including trauma and critical care. The facility supports an interdisciplinary approach and has comprehensive service availability. This position requires a commitment to patient-centered care and collaboration with various health professionals. Candidates must be willing to work with a varied patient demographic, including all age groups. The nursing team may encounter behavioral health situations and must be prepared to handle them appropriately.
