Solar Welder Summary Mortenson is currently seeking a Solar Welder that will be responsible for the preparation, handling and supplying of materials. Sets up and performs welds of moderate complexity from blueprints and specifications. Responsibilities Load and unload equipment and materials Responsible for the preparation, handling and supplying of materials Sets up and performs welds of moderate complexity from blueprints and specifications Assist engineering with prints and documentation design Conducting daily activities according to documented quality system procedures and work instructions Basic problem solving techniques and troubleshooting; as related to welding component parts General cleanup and clearing of debris Lifting up to 50 lbs and walking a minimum of 10 miles a day in various weather conditions All other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum one (1) year of experience Current driver’s license Strong teamwork orientation; detail orientation; strong organizational skills Active listening skills and effective communication, including an openness to diverse input and feedback Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.
