Certified DOT Mechanic
Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of trailers to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
Perform routine maintenance tasks
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues
Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs and maintenance
Complete DOT compliance paperwork
Ensure all vehichles meet safety standards and are in compliance with DOT regulations.
Stay updated on changes and regulations
Communicate with drivers and management regarding issues and maintenance schedules.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail.
May involve working in various environments, shop, outdoors and garages.
Physical demands inlcuding lifting heavy parts.
