Experience:

• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main.

Additional Details:

Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.

Required Skills/Experience: - 3-5 years experience as a cath lab tech. - Ability to monitor and scrub.

Required Credentials: - Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed. - Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Special Requests: - Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. - In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license.

Shift & Scheduling: - Variable shift start time of 0630-0830 and shift end time of 1500-1700. - Call based on department needs; currently 1-2 weekday nights 1700-0700 and 1 weekend a month 1700 Friday - 0700 Monday. - Holidays covered by call as needed.

Floating Requirements: - May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certification CI

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
