Quality Control Technician

Quality Control TechnicianOur client, a manufacturing organization, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control team supporting day-to-day laboratory needs for a 24/7 manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a safety-minded mindset, and the ability to follow written procedures—helping ensure timely QC testing and accurate records.Location: Grand Prairie, TXPay Range: $20-22/hourShift: 11am-9pm or 12-10pm Mon-FriWhat's the Job?Support routine QC testing and assist with sample preparation to help keep testing on schedule.Collect and organize production and raw material samples for accurate, traceable testing.Enter test results accurately into QC systems and logs to maintain reliable documentation.Assist with testing of mortars, thinsets, grouts, sands, and other products according to established procedures.Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked laboratory workstations while following Quality Work Instructions (QWIs) and safety requirements.What's Needed?High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous laboratory, manufacturing, or quality experience preferred but not required.Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written procedures and QWIs.Basic computer and data-entry skills to accurately record results.Ability to work independently while supporting a team in a manufacturing/laboratory environment, including physical sample preparation.What's in it for me?Opportunity to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation by helping maintain timely QC testing and accurate records.Hands-on experience assisting with laboratory testing for a variety of construction-related products.A role built around clear procedures, safety expectations, and quality documentation.Collaboration with QC Technicians and leadership through clear communication of results and concerns.A chance to grow by learning additional laboratory and quality-related tasks as needed.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
