Insurance Account Coordinator

Job Description We seek a dedicated full-time Insurance Account Coordinator to join our high-volume Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation office. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient management of insurance accounts, patient billing, and collections. Key Responsibilities Communicate daily discrepancies with insurance accounts. Follow up on claims via phone and electronic platforms. Handle Accounts Receivables and collection efforts for delinquent patient accounts. Correspond with patients to resolve account discrepancies and manage collections. Document all actions taken regarding accounts accurately. Re-bill and correct insurance claims as necessary. Provide marketing leads for workshops and new patient acquisition. Monitor accounts paying over 50% and track billing trends. Collaborate with Insurance Resolution Specialists to ensure authorizations and certifications are up to date. Update Paid to Patients (P2P) Accounts List regularly. Identify and resolve missing or misapplied payments. Generate claims write-off list for review by the Insurance Department Assistant. Submit EON Stats (End of the Day Statistics) to Directors for daily overview. Maintain updated pop-ups with relevant patient account information. Review incoming emails related to patient accounts. Assist with payment posting and authorization processes. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE REVIEWED IN THE OFFICE.
