Maintenance Sales RepresentativeIndoor Environmental Services (IES) is expanding its commercial sales group and is seeking additional Maintenance Sales Representatives to support continued growth across Northern California. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new commercial HVAC services and maintenance business within assigned territories.Junior level applicants are highly encouraged to apply! IES is open to investing in and developing new talent. Prior experience with outside sales fields such as solar sales, insurance, pest control, or uniform services would be advantageous, but not required.The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with a consultative sales approach, strong business insight, and the ability to build trusted relationships with commercial decision-makers. This role requires a self-starter with a strong sense of urgency, who can work independently from a remote location when needed, and sets ambitious goals for themselves.Primary Responsibilities:Develop new business opportunities for commercial HVAC maintenance and service workIdentify and engage key decision-makers within commercial and industrial facilitiesConduct structured, consultative sales meetings to understand customer operational needsPresent and recommend customized HVAC service and maintenance solutionsManage prospecting, pipeline development, and opportunity progressionMaintain accurate activity and opportunity records within a CRM and use reporting toolsCollaborate with internal operations and service teams to ensure successful customer onboardingTravel locally to customer and prospect sites as requiredSchedule:Full-Time, ExemptMonday to FridayCompensation package:$60,000 - $80,000+ per yearBase W-2 salary supplemented by uncapped commission opportunitiesBenefits:Flexible Schedule, Paid time off, and paid trainingProfessional development assistance401(k) plan with company matching safe harbor contributionComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) optionsLife insurance and Employee Assistance ProgramVehicle Allowance and gas cardRequirements:Demonstrated success in business development, outside sales, or new account acquisitionStrong prospecting, cold-calling, and relationship development capabilitiesProfessional communication skills with the ability to present to stakeholders and decision-makersHigh level of organization, accountability, adaptability and time managementAbility to work independently while aligning with corporate objectivesProficiency with standard business technology, Microsoft products, and CRM platformsStrong interpersonal skills, along with the ability to prospect and manage the entire sales cyclePreferred (Not Required) Qualifications:Experience selling commercial HVAC maintenance agreements or mechanical solutionsPrior outside sales experience in a competitive B2B environmentFamiliarity with commercial real estate, property management, or facility operationsPrior experience with outside sales fields such as solar, insurance, pest control, or uniform servicesPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while conducting in-person meetings, climb onto building rooftops, and survey mechanical equipmentCapacity to lift and transport marketing materials or presentation equipment, which typically ranges from 15 to 50 lbs.Flexibility to frequently bend, stoop, reach, and twist.Stamina to manage extensive daily driving to visit various client sites within your territoryAdditional Requirements:Valid driver's license (required as an essential function of the work being performed)In-person work with split office and field responsibilities.
