This role involves supporting surgical team activities, scrub duties, and ensuring patient safety throughout perioperative processes. Job Details Required Qualifications: BLS Certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room specialty; willing to wait for license submission. Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with participation in weekend rotation and on-call schedule, including 1 weekend call day and 1 scheduled weekend shift per 4-week cycle. Occasional midnights and holidays may be required based on departmental needs. Additional Information: This position is in a preoperative area within a surgical center, not a free-standing surgical facility. The role involves scrubbing, assisting with all procedures including same-day and overnight stays, and utilizing electronic medical records systems such as Sunrise and Epic (go-live date April 1). Experience with surgical care, robotics, and IV skills are essential. The unit notes a 50-mile radius submission rule, and candidates must include a copy of their unexpired drivers license with submissions.
