SUMMARY:

Provide exceptional service to our members and expand consumer loan relationships by handling member and indirect loan applications. Accurately and efficiently, process loan applications, from origination through funding.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inputting loan applications, review and process online applications. Ability to read and understand credit reports. Complete Consumer Loan Underwriting within assigned personal limits and guidelines. Scan loan documents into imaging system. Familiarize with and adhere to Lending & CU policies and procedures. Responsible for exceptional member service. Represent the credit union in a courteous, honest and professional manner while maintaining confidentiality with all member data. Must be able to work independently and handle multiple priorities under pressure of deadlines and time restraints. Ability to; multi task, set priorities, demonstration proficient attention to details, meet deadlines and be well organized. Be familiar with and adhere to Consumer Loan rules and regulations. As a staff member of NW Plus CU you are expected to adhere to policies, procedures and reporting requirements. In addition, all assigned training will be completed in a timely manner as set forth by the BSA Officer in accordance to Board approved BSA, CIP and OFAC Programs. Other duties and tasks as assigned.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

Performs assigned duties with minimal direct supervision once proper training is completed.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and other Database software.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ability to work independently in a non-supervised environment. Familiarity with the credit union systems, preferred. Excellent communication skills, customer service, verbal and written communication. Professional in appearance. Must be self motivated, detail oriented and highly organized with proven follow-through capabilities. Previous lending experience preferred. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of lending background preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent
