Ability to apply knowledge of technical practices related to piping repair and installation. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, instructions, and technical specifications to perform assigned work. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of equipment, components, and materials associated with pipefitting operations. Ability to fabricate piping system assemblies by cutting, bending, brazing, and beveling. Ability to prepare equipment and components for subsequent installation. WG-08 Ability to assist journey-level pipefitters with the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems. Ability to learn the proper use of tools and shop equipment associated with the pipefitting trade. Ability to use a variety of pipefitting tools, including grinders, brazing torches, measuring tools, and hydraulic pipe benders under supervision. Ability to assist journey-level pipefitters in troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting, and installing tank level indicators.
