As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in our multidisciplinary team, working closely with our skilled nursing and rehabilitation staff to deliver high-quality patient care. Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders, such as speech, language, voice, fluency, and cognitive impairments. Your expertise will help patients recover from a variety of conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, and neurodegenerative diseases. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify communication and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs Provide speech, language, and cognitive therapy to patients, including individual and group sessions Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Document patient progress and maintain accurate records Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure evidence-based practice Requirements: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Florida Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment What We Offer: A dynamic and supportive work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development A competitive salary (to be determined) #J-18808-Ljbffr Lake Placid Health and Rehabilitation Center
