Financial Reporting Manager

I’m partnered with a well-established, publicly traded REIT in Orlando on a new Financial Reporting Manager hire. This organization has a strong national footprint and is known for its stable portfolio, long-term growth strategy, and collaborative finance leadership team. This is a high-impact role responsible for leading external reporting, ensuring compliance with SEC requirements, and supporting technical accounting initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. They are looking for a strong senior ready to step into a management seat to oversee the functions and one direct report. What You’ll Be Doing Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, and related disclosures) Oversee financial statement preparation in accordance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory standards Research and resolve complex accounting matters, including drafting position memos Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to gather and validate financial data for reporting purposes Drive improvements in reporting processes, controls, and documentation Support external audit activities and serve as a key liaison with auditors Assist with implementation of new accounting standards and ensure ongoing compliance What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA preferred/plus - not required) 3+ years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience (public accounting, industry or a mix) Experience with SEC reporting and/or technical accounting Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize in a fast-moving environment Why This Opportunity Stands Out Fast track growth step into management, high visibility and business partnering Work closely with senior leadership and gain visibility across the organization Opportunity to influence processes and drive reporting improvements Collaborative culture with a focus on professional growth and development #J-18808-Ljbffr
