Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our Rehabilitation Center, where an engaging and collaborative atmosphere encourages professional growth and patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to evaluate their physical conditions, discuss health histories, and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of methods, including tailored exercise programs, hands-on therapy techniques, and the use of specialized equipment.
• Implement and modify treatment protocols based on patients’ needs and progress, optimizing their recovery journey.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and setbacks to inform future care decisions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for patients.
• Educate and guide patients and their families on effective exercises, preventive care, and the correct use of assistive devices to enhance self-care and mobility.
• Stay current with industry practices by attending workshops, engaging in professional development opportunities, and participating in relevant professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and those living with chronic pain disorders. Qualifications

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in New Jersey.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
• Competency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
• You must be adaptable and capable of managing a diverse range of patient needs and treatment programs.

Preferred Experience

• While prior work experience is not required, candidates with clinical internship or externship experiences in orthopedic settings are preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in physical therapy and rehabilitation is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
