Responsibilities Case Strategy & Analysis : Develop legal and factual strategy through research and assessment of key arguments Written Advocacy : Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation submissions Discovery Management : Support document review, fact development, and deposition preparation Technical Collaboration : Work with experts to interpret and present complex scientific or technical issues Trial Preparation : Assist with witness prep, exhibits, and overall trial readiness Court Proceedings : Support and, where appropriate, attend hearings and oral arguments Client Advisory : Provide input on litigation risk, strategy, and commercial implications Resolution Strategy : Contribute to settlement evaluation and negotiation preparation Cross-Border Coordination : Assist on multi-jurisdictional disputes and coordinated litigation efforts Candidate Requirements 4+ years of experience in Patent Litigation Law Academic Excellence : Strong law degree results and solid academic foundation Legal Qualification : Qualified (or soon to be qualified) in a relevant jurisdiction Litigation Experience : Prior exposure to disputes, ideally including IP or complex commercial matters Legal Research & Analysis : Ability to quickly analyse legal issues and develop sound arguments Written Advocacy : Strong drafting skills for briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents Technical Aptitude : Ability to understand and engage with complex technical or industry-specific material JD from an accredited law school and admission to the NY Bar.
