PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-oriented Product Acceptance Specialist to support a leading aviation organization in Hanahan, SC. In this role, you will be at the forefront of quality assurance—ensuring that every product meets strict engineering and compliance standards before it reaches its destination.
Your work provides the critical verification and accountability needed to maintain safety, precision, and performance in aerospace manufacturing.
Position Details- Job Title: Product Acceptance Specialist
- Job Type: Full-Time | Consultant (12 Months)
- Location: Hanahan, SC
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Pay Rate: Starting at $32.27 per hour
- Requirement: Regular and predictable attendance
- Verify product conformance to engineering and design specifications
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and thread gauges
- Provide objective evidence and documentation of inspection results
- Conduct audits, surveillance, and monitoring of processes and products
- Identify, document, and control non-conforming materials or components
- Perform preliminary review and assist with disposition of discrepancies
- Support product and process verification reviews alongside customers
- Partner with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure standards are met
- Communicate findings clearly through reports and documentation
- Identify recurring or significant quality issues
- Initiate corrective action requests and support resolution efforts
- Monitor trends to help improve overall product quality and processes
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- At least 1+ year of related experience in inspection, manufacturing, or quality
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in aerospace, aviation, or high-reliability manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and inspection standards
- Experience supporting audits or compliance initiatives
