Job Description Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and craft individualized therapy strategies to help them achieve functional milestones. Implement Effective Therapeutic Techniques: Apply proven methodologies aimed at enhancing motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily living tasks. Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner extensively with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver all-encompassing care. Guide Patients and Their Families: Educate patients and caregivers on treatment methods to facilitate progress at home. Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust therapies as necessary to keep patients on track. Education Acquired a degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution. Ongoing education or additional post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported. Certifications Possess an active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license. NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a requirement. Skills A deep-rooted passion for helping individuals reach their utmost level of independence.
