Job Responsibilities

• Design Tailored Therapy Plans: Evaluate patients' needs and create individualized treatment strategies that empower them to achieve their specific goals
• Implement Effective Interventions: Utilize researched practices to enhance patients' physical abilities, cognitive function, and everyday activities
• Collaborate with Holistic Healthcare Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide comprehensive patient care
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Teach family members and patients effective therapy methods to ensure continued improvement at home
• Monitor Progress and Adjust Treatments: Keep track of patient outcomes while modifying treatment strategies as necessary to maintain momentum

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Ongoing education and additional certifications are encouraged and supported

Licensing and Certification

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification necessary
