Must have a high level of customer service experience with professional appearance, and excellent communication skills. This position involves heavy phone volume, taking patient messages, scheduling, collecting co-pays, and billing data entry with insurances/demographics. Previous experience with insurance verification and benefits is required. Only applicants with previous Medical Front Office experience will be considered. Spanish speaking a plus. Responsibilities and Duties Answer telephones Take patients messages Handle prescription refill requests Make appointments Greet patients as they enter office Register, gather demographics, verify insurance coverage and benefits Collect balances on account Check patients out after their visit, collect any deductibles and/or co-ins due Make follow up appointments Qualifications and Skills To be considered applicants should have recently worked in a medical front office. The ideal applicant will have knowledge of insurance networks and the ability to verify insurance and benefits with an understanding of deductibles and co-insurance.
