Job Description: Manufacturing Insurance Producer Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Manufacturing Insurance Producer to join our team. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with clients in the manufacturing sector, providing tailored insurance solutions, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing operations and risk management, coupled with exceptional sales and customer service skills. Key Responsibilities: Client Acquisition: Develop and execute strategies to attract new manufacturing clients. Identify potential customers through market research, networking, and referrals. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and communication. Act as the primary point of contact, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Insurance Solutions Development: Assess client needs and develop customized insurance plans tailored to the unique risks of the manufacturing industry. Educate clients on policy options, including general liability, workers' compensation, property, and equipment breakdown coverage. Sales and Retention: Present insurance solutions to clients and close sales to meet or exceed production targets. Conduct policy reviews and recommend adjustments to ensure continued coverage and value for clients. Market Knowledge and Compliance: Stay informed about trends, regulations, and developments in the manufacturing and insurance industries. Ensure all sales and service activities comply with state insurance laws and agency policies. Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with underwriters, account managers, and claims teams to deliver seamless service to clients. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and policy details. Qualifications: Proven experience as an insurance producer or similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or commercial insurance sectors. In-depth knowledge of property, casualty, and liability insurance products. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and associated risks. Active insurance producer license (or ability to obtain one). Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
