Low Voltage Cable Technician – Structured Cabling – Raleigh, NCJoin Next Level Technician as a Mid-Level Low Voltage Technician in Raleigh, NC! Earn $20–$28/hr based on experience while working on commercial projects throughout the Triangle. Responsibilities:Pull, route, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cabling.Install and terminate fiber optic cabling (termination experience preferred).Install racks, cabinets, patch panels, ladder rack, basket tray, J-hooks, and cable pathways.Build out and organize MDF/IDF closets.Test and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling using Fluke or similar testing equipment.Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and cable schedules.Assist with installation of access control, CCTV, and other low voltage systems as projects require.Maintain clean, organized work areas while following OSHA and customer safety requirements.Requirements:2-5 years of commercial structured cabling experience.Strong experience pulling, terminating, dressing, and testing CAT5e/CAT6 cable.Experience working in commercial environments such as healthcare, schools, office buildings, manufacturing facilities, or data centers.Fiber optic installation or termination experience is a plus.Experience with access control or CCTV is a plus.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also supporting a crew.BICSI, OSHA 10, lift certifications, or manufacturer certifications are a plus.Must have basic hand tools, PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots), reliable transportation, and a valid driver's license.Why Work with Next Level Technician in Raleigh, NC?Weekly Pay – Get paid every week.Competitive Pay – $20-$28/hr based on experience.PTO, medical, dental, and vision benefits.Sign-on and referral bonus opportunities.Career Growth – Opportunities to work on high-profile commercial construction projects while advancing your technical skills.Dedicated recruiter support that understands the Raleigh low voltage market.National network with long-term project opportunities and contract-to-hire positions.About Next Level Technician Next Level Technician specializes in placing skilled low voltage professionals with top contractors across the country.
