Role Summary*
Join a leading Miami CPA firm in Brickell as Lead, Tax Compliance & Client Advisory. Oversee tax filings, mentor staff, and strengthen client relationships for a diverse portfolio in a collaborative hybrid work setting.
Key Challenges*
• Navigating complex federal and state tax codes for diverse client needs.
• Balancing technical accuracy with high client service standards.
• Mentoring and developing a team in a fast-paced CPA firm.
• Translating complex tax concepts into actionable business advice.
Must haves*• 8+ years of progressive experience in a CPA firm environment.
• Active CPA license required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Expert knowledge of US tax forms (1040, 1065, 1120-S, etc.).
• Must have experience in: Professional Services - Accounting & Audit Firms (CPA)
Main Responsibilities*
• Oversee and review preparation of federal and state tax forms for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates.
• Act as primary contact for high-value clients, providing strategic tax advice.
• Mentor and develop staff and seniors to ensure technical excellence.
• Support business development and partner-track initiatives as applicable.
