About the Role


We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week quick start contract opportunity in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This role is primarily inpatient with the potential for some outpatient coverage and supports patients with neurological, trauma, post-intubation, swallowing, and cognitive communication needs.


Responsibilities
• Provide speech therapy services in inpatient and potential outpatient settings
• Evaluate and treat patients with stroke, TBI, Parkinson's, trauma, and post-intubation needs
• Perform cognitive evaluations to support home safety and discharge planning
• Assist with swallow studies and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Document therapy services accurately using Cerner and collaborate with the care team


Requirements
• Active Nebraska Speech Language Pathologist License Required
• ASHA Certification Required
• American Heart Association BLS/BCLS Certification Required
• Inpatient, outpatient, neuro, trauma, swallowing, or cognitive evaluation experience preferred
• Must meet facility performance expectations and support assigned day shift schedule needs
